Course-Specific Information:

Included in the course fee is a current BLS for Healthcare Providers
manual, the CORE instructor manual, and the BLS for Healthcare Providers
Instructor Manual. You will need additional materials to run courses,
including manuals, DVD presentations, manikins, and other courseware. It
is possible that your organization (if any) has some of these materials,
but please note that there are various materials necessary to teach CPR
courses that are not included in the course fee.

Please complete the CORE Instructor CD program before coming to class.
We will need the CORE Instructor certificate, plus a copy of your
current Professional CPR card at the course. 

IMPORTANT: We routinely get CPR Instructor candidates who feel their CPR
skills are good enough to teach. Clinical skills are almost NEVER
textbook and you must not rely on your clinical background to pass the
rigorous skills verification required of instructors. Please use the BLS
for Healthcare Providers manual provided to prepare for the skills exam
as we will be thorough in evaluating the candidates at the course.

give you a good sense of what is required in the evaluation of CPR
students.
