The HazCom standard requires the employees who can be potentially exposed to hazardous substances such as caustics, compressed gases, carcinogens, teratogens, acids, alkali, and other potentially hazardous materials be trained in the proper handling, storage, labeling, and identification of the materials.
The Hazard Communication Instructor program is a train-the-trainer session designed to prepare the participant to comply with OSHA's CFR 1910.1200 - the Hazard Communication Standard. The course discusses basic Methods of Instruction, the essential elements of the course, and the administrative requirements of 1910.1200. This program will provide the participant with formal training to conduct OSHA-Compliant HazCom programs.
