The Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) program is the National Standard Curriculum course for individuals who will respond to emergencies but generally not provide transportation to the hospital. It is popular with police officers, fire-fighters, camp counselors, industrial first responders, and others with a duty to respond to sudden illness or injury victims.
