NJ EMT’s require 24 elective CEU credits, along with a 24-hour EMT Refresher to recertify their EMT credentials. CEU programs are designed to accrue the necessary hours to maintain a NJ EMT Certification.
We have some short courses approved for online delivery. These programs are sessions that have been approved by NJ OEMS, and received a NJ course number. As a result, PA and NREMT will also honor those courses for elective credits.
Course Length: Varies according to course
Intended Audience: NJ/PA/NR EMT’s looking to recertify their credential. Also non-EMT’s at your organization (first responders, drivers, etc) are welcome to attend most courses.
Entry-level program to train non-transport EMS providers such as police officers, fire-fighters, and others expected to provide initial care before EMS arrives (formerly called First Responder).
A useful bundle of programs that addresses the many needs of the average BLS EMS agency including training, medical direction, and support for in-house training needs.
