NJ EMT’s require 24 elective CEU credits, along with a 24-hour EMT Refresher to recertify their EMT credentials. This program is designed to satisfy the EMT Refresher component of the renewal for NJ Emergency Medical Technicians. The program is run in three eight-hour blocks (parts A, B, and C) and partial credit can be obtained for each 8-hour units for the program. Programs are available at a variety of locations, and private or on-site programs are available at your organizations for low student minimums. Intended Audience: NJ EMT’s looking to recertify their credential. Also out-of-state EMT’s who need a NREMT refresher course, or a NJ MD/RN/PA that needs an EMT card, and would like to obtain one by taking EMT Refresher and challenging the state exam.
