Bloodborne illness threatens all who may become exposed to blood or certain other body fluids. The Occupational Safety & Health Administration requires that these employees receive a yearly training program on preventing bloodborne disease.
The Bloodborne Pathogens Instructor program is a train-the-trainer session designed to prepare the participant to comply with OSHA's CFR 1910.1030 - the Bloodborne Pathogens Standard. The course discusses basic Methods of Instruction, the essential elements of the course, and the administrative requirements of 1910.1030. Participants will be formally trained to conduct OSHA-Compliant Bloodborne Pathogens training for their groups and manage Bloodborne Pathogens programs.
Time Frame: 8 hours classroom program
